Beautifully furnished and private one-bedroom guest suite in a central, but quiet, location, and within walking distance of most tourist attractions. If the hills are too much, a good bus service is nearby. I live in the same property, so I’m available if you need help or advice.
PARKING: you MUST let me know if you are thinking of bringing a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won’t suit everyone.
The space
Wonderful Georgian guest suite in Edinburgh’s New Town. There is a double bed settee in the lounge, so the suite is suitable for 3 people but please note that the bathroom is en suite to the bedroom.
We provide a welcome pack of food on your arrival so that you can have breakfast without having to go to the shops. Please note that we have a 3-night minimum in the quiet season and a 4-night minimum during busy times.
Guest access
Guests enter the guest suite via a shared hall for the building. The suite is on the Lower Ground Floor and this is not the same as the basement level – the suite is full of light. There are about 6 steps to the front door of the building and then one flight of stairs down to the suite.
Other things to note
Please note that I don’t accept hen or stag party groups.
No events, parties or loud music are allowed.
The accommodation cannot be used for people who are not guests (e.g. wedding party preparations).
The accommodation is strictly non-smoking (including e-cigarettes).
No pets are allowed.
Edinburgh City Council Licensing regulations require that all guest names are provided at the time of booking.
